Cleaning Trial Summary

The customer was looking to improve their cleaning performance, automate their cleaning process, reduce rework and reject rate, clean mixed metals together, eliminate hazardous waste and chemicals, recover scrap parts and reduce VOC’s.

1.       Spray Under Immersion Washer (Graymills T12, Graymills T24, SK 81.8 w/SUI)

2.       Agitating Immersion Washer (SK 81.8, Graymills T12, Graymills T24)

Several areas, especially around the welded joints, were lightly brushed with a nylon bristle brush during the fresh water rinse.  The parts were air pressure dried.

The ArmaKleen Technical Center recommended using 100% by volume ArmaKleen™ Paint and Ink Remover at 150°F in a Spray Under Immersion Washer for a minimum of 1 to 4 hours.
